Happy Valentine’s Day!

Though I know Valentine’s Day isn’t all about flowers, chocolate, and candy, I passed out these little homemade cards to all my students to give them a little sweet treat. Yesterday, my students began drafting their writing to answer the prompt, “What is love to you?”

The following quote from John Piper in Don’t Waste Your Life defines what love is to me:

“Love is not Christ’s making much of us or making life easy. Love is doing what he must do, at great cost to himself (and often to us), to enable us to enjoy making much of him forever.”

Happy Valentine’s Day to all

and Happy Birthday, Hubert!
