Since I have been to The Cottage three times now, I wanted to try a new brunch place. Finally visited Hash House after hearing raves about how good and generous the portions are. Boy oh boy, the portions are huuuge! My mom and I shared one dish, but still we could barely finish it up even though I was so hungry after finishing my Insanity workout.

The Sage Fried Chicken Benedict was good with all of the ingredients put together, especially the chipotle cream poured on top. But the chicken was dry, so I would try another dish next time – maybe the Griddled French Toast with pecan maple syrup, their other most popular dish along with the Sage Fried Chicken Benedict. Their brewed coffee was also one of the best that I have had in a while. It was not watered down at all, but nice and strong.

The wait was about 30 minutes on a Friday at noon, so I can only imagine the wait being much longer for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. But it was well worth a visit to see these extravagant breakfast portions!
