On Day 5, we sent our relatives from HK off to the airport in the morning. Then we spent the rest of the day chilling at home and napping because it was pouring rain outside.
On Day 6, the weather thankfully improved, so we spent the day in Midtown. We shopped in the largest Macy’s store in NY for hours and ate lunch at Woorijip in Koreatown. After shopping some more, we walked blocks and blocks to beat the line at Pure Thai in Hell’s Kitchen. In the evening, my mom and I watched our first Broadway show in NY – Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre! We got a spectacular view in our aisle seats in the 9th row with our last-minute tickets. I have never sat so close up to the stage that I could see all the facial expressions of the actors and the details of their costumes, backdrops, and stage props. It was an amazing performance!
