American Girl Place

I knew this was considered an attraction in Chicago, but I forgot all about it until I walked past it after visiting the John Hancock Center next door. I got really excited to see the American Girl historical characters, especially Molly who was my favorite childhood character! Back in elementary school, I read all the Molly books and used to pour over American Girl catalogs that came in the mail. Apparently, the dolls cost more than $100 each! It was cool to be at the store to see all this in person after all these years. I felt like a kid again!

Navy Pier

Got here after dinner when the pier was about to close at 8 PM. Ended up being for the best because we wouldn’t have ridden on the rides anyway and we avoided the crowd. Instead, I got to capture night shots of the Chicago skyline and the pier with lights on the rides, which are some of my favorite photos from this trip!
